Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
We are open and accepting appointments starting the week of May 4, 2020.
Please call to schedule your appointment.
We look forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same, our commitment to your health and safety. In an effort to protect our dentists, staff and patients we will be asking every patient a list of questions before their appointment.
Infection control has always been a top priority at our practice. We want to make sure you know about our infection control procedures we follow to keep our patients and staff safe.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We are constantly following these agencies to stay up-to-date on new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure our infection control procedures are current and are following the current recommendations of each agency.
You will see changes at your next appointment.
For example, when you call to schedule an appointment we may ask questions beforehand for screening purposes. You will be asked those same questions the day of your appointment.
We will have hand sanitizer available for when you enter our practice.
Our waiting room will no longer have magazine, children’s books, toys or other objects that are difficult to sanitize. Our chairs have been changed to leather chairs, allowing us to sanitize each chair.
Each appointment will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. This may mean that you will be offered fewer options for scheduling your future appointments.
We are also working hard to allow for greater time between patients to help reduce waiting times for you. This will also reduce the number of patients in our reception area at one time.
We look forward to seeing you very soon and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we are taking to protect everyone at our practice. To make your appointment or to talk to someone in our office, please call us at (907) 349-6522 or our Emergency line (907) 602-6001.
